Publications

Most of my work is self published. I also often print my comics and zines myself and sew them together by hand. I use techniques learned in college bookbinding and printing class. Over the years I have collaborated with other independent publishers that work in similar methods.

CRIOLLO (2019) & CRIOLLO 2 (2023)

Originally a standalone comic, CRIOLLO was an amalgam of all the bad experiences I had working in kitchens. The characters, kitchen and stories based loosely from experiences throughout my career. This comic was written for many reasons, chief among them catharsis. Another, was to initiate conversations about kitchens and working conditions within them. CRIOLLO 2 came along after several request and a desire to revisit the characters and see them in another, similarly shitty situation. Again, all events in CRIOLLO 2 are drawn from real lived experiences while working in restaurants.

00773

00773 is my first color comic, published in 2021. It’s a very short story that takes place in “Los kioskos” a popular hub in Luquillo, PR. It’s a comic without words, so anyone can “read” it.

FLORA / FAUNA

This was a collection of zines sold together. Inside was a collection of character drawings based on the concept of flora or fauna.

NOWHERE (A 24 HOUR COMIC)

This was my first comic, written and drawn in a span of 24 hours, on 24 hour comic day. Each frame was about an hour of work.

SE LO LLEVÓ PATECO

Collaborative comic/ zine between 12 Puerto Rican artists about a classic folk tale. Published and organized by Soda Pop Comics.
